We end AQAF 2024 with a brand new presentation festival for young queer creators: welcome to the first edition of A Night Called Quest. From the attic to the basement of The Studio, 10 artists will overwhelm you with performances, poetry, visual art, installations, music ....
On Friday 30 August, Sarjon Azouz and Fleur Pierets kick off the evening. With Ra3sh, Sarjon brings an artistic performance inspired by a poem carved into a stone, sent by their mother from their Syria home. It recounts the diaspora's attempts to reach their homes and displaced families. Writer and activist Fleur reads from brand new work from her LoveLetters project. Saturday it's Elmer as an opening act.
In addition, you can enjoy TABOO? BOO!, a mini-concert by theater maker Maxime Dreesen featuring new music from their alter ego Tabooboo.
